Hey there! I’m Kelani Cundy a nature and landscape photographer based out of Bar Harbor Maine.
Influenced by my childhood on Monhegan Island, a remote fishing village and Artist colony ten miles out to Sea, off of mid-coast Maine, I learned to embrace the wonders of nature, finding solace and inspiration in the ever-changing tides, winds, birds, flora and the infinite sky.
My father's life as a fisherman taught me to respect the sea's power.
The ocean, with its vast depths and timeless mysteries, became my muse, my companion, and my spiritual guide.
I received my first 35mm at the age of 14 and began learning how to develop photos in a darkroom but in today’s technical world have learned to love working with digital darkrooms, weaving light and shadow into compositions that reflect my soul and the natural world as I see it.
I am grateful to be sharing my photographic journey with you and hope that you enjoy seeing Maine and its nature through my eyes.
